- I have an A2000B with an aging 14MHz 68020 with 4MB RAM in it.
-
- Now I am contemplating accelerating my Amiga with a 040 or 060
- card. The card should have a DMA Fast-SCSI II host adapter on
- it to lessen the problems with Zorro II-SCSI host adapter cards
- (I have a HardFrame/2000 now). I have looked at Phase 5's
- Blizzard 2060 and the Apollo 2060 cards and neither are perfect.
- The Blizzard SCSI is said to be unable to handle LUN's and the
- SCSI part of the Apollo card does not use DMA but rather the
- processor instead.
-
- I want opinions, experiences and facts about 060 cards for
- primarily the A2000 but cards for A3000/A4000 is also of
- interest.
